Variable length security seals are commonly known as "pull tight security seals". This offers an instruction to the user, as a loose pull tight seal provides the opportunity of tampering to the dishonest employee. Pull tight security seals should be used on applications that do not flex excessively in transit or if they do, the tension exerted is insufficient to break the seal. Choice of material is important too depending upon your application.
Recommended uses for pull tight security seals: first aid kits, fire extinguishers, sacks, bags, cages (including roll cages), tote boxes, IBCs, valve cabinets, ATM cassettes, polling bins, pouches. Generally pull tight security seals should not be used on vehicle roller-shutter or barn doors as the continuous flex when the vehicle is in motion will cause a seal under tension to break. Compact / Comet with Removable Sticky Label
The Compact/Comet security seals are available with a removable sticky label affixed to the head of the seal, which carries the seal number and barcode, as well as it being laser etched on the seal itself. This enables very fast and easy recording of seal numbers.

Metalo 30 Cable Security Seals
Our cable security seals provide barrier security to protect goods from opportunistic attack. These seals require cutters for removal they cannot be opened by hand.
Flexible, tamper resistant, user friendly and customisable with logo, bar code and cable length, our range of cable seals covers a wide range of cable diameters from 1.5mm to 5mm.
The cable is produced with a welded tip once sealed the cable will splay when cut providing clear tamper evidence. Bodies are available in plastic / steel and aluminium / steel construction that provide high level of flexibility for custom marking and bar coding requirements.
Our cable seals are manufactured to conform to ISO 17712 (as specified by C-PAT).

Petit
Low security tamper evident security seal available in two different materials; Polypropylene (PP) with a break strength of 2.5kg, and Polyamide (PA) with a break strength of 7kg. Due to the low break strength the Petit is suitable for applications requiring quick and easy hand removal, such as first aid kits and fire extinguishers.

Pharmaflex
The Pharmaflex has been specifically developed for applications in the pharmaceutical industry. The seals are specially treated to ensure any shards of plastic are removed, so that they are able to be used within a clean room environment.
The security seals have been certified compliant for Food Contact, as defined in EC Directive 2002/72/EC.
Numbering is laser marked into the plastic, suiting the seal for a rough handling environment. Also features spikes on the ribbon for secure fastening to the neck of bags.

The Variflex with Tear-off features a dual numbered tear-off tab at the head of each seal to assist seal number tracking, and to add an extra level of security.
