Bolt seals are used to secure trucks, trailers and containers worldwide. With easy hand closing, bolt seals are very convenient, yet strong enough that every bolt seal we supply must be removed with heavy duty boltcutters. Due to this strength and convenience, bolt seals are the most commonly chosen solution for international intermodal security sealing, as well as being a regular sight on motorways up and down the UK.
We supply 3 different bolt seals, as below, from our entry level Genius Solid bolt seal, to our Ferrolock and Hi-Genius bolt seals which are ISO 17712 compliant (as specified in C-TPAT). This new standard requires accreditation for both corporate (supplier security-related business processes) and product (physical testing). Unisto are certified for these bolt seals, and cable seals, for use by the shipping and transport industry in a wide range of cross border and domestic operations.

Ferrolock
A high security bolt security seal for containers, with a pull apart strength of 2 tonnes. Removal requires 1000mm bolt cutters. 7 Digit sequential numbering comes as standard, and is laser marked onto both the seal body and head. Suitable for applications such as shipping containers and box trailers.
Tested and certified as ISO/PAS 17712-2010 compliant (as specified in C-TPAT) customs accepted

A high security bolt seal for containers. Genius Solid prevents opportunistic theft. The seal is complete with a unique tamper-evident feature to provide evidence of spinning, a common method of tampering. Removal requires bolt cutters.
